Why Should You Take This Asbestos Project Designer Course
This Asbestos Project Designer Initial training accredits individuals to plan the scope, timing, phasing, and remediation methods for an asbestos project. Accreditation as a Project Designer allows one to apply knowledge of building construction in the design and development of abatement projects, abatement specifications, bidding documents, architectural drawings, and schematic representations of material locations.
Training for asbestos abatement professionals is required under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act of 1986 (AHERA), which is the authority under which EPA issued the EPA Asbestos Model Accreditation Plan. This course has been granted full approval by the EPA and various States to meet AHERA and ASHARA accreditation requirements for asbestos work in K-12 schools, as well as in public and commercial buildings.
A Project Designer must possess a valid Project Designer certificate and have a copy of their certificate with them at all times while working on the project. This workshop prepares you to immediately apply your knowledge to the field, with extensive hands-on training and real-world examples from experienced instructors. It combines lectures, discussions, and hands-on demonstrations.

The trainer was extremely knowledgeable and her technique of using her real-world experiences to relay the information made the course interesting. Instead of 3 days of lecture, it was time spent in an active dialog and I also learned from the other more experienced people in the room. All questions were not only answered but welcomed. I also thought the location was convenient and easy to find, no problem parking, plenty of options for lunch nearby.
